The Serrano hams are from Toledo in Castilla, Spain. They are certified as genuine Serrano hams by the 'Fundacion para el Jamon Serrano' - the Foundation for Serrano Hams, and are 'Black label' Reserva hams, in other words they have a black label on them to prove that they are cured for 15-20 months (less cured hams have either silver or gold labels).

Presented within a smart wooden box, they come with a Jamonero (ham holder) & ham knife (both pictured) to aid the fine carving of the pink meat, giving a slightly sweet aroma & intense flavour.

The beauty of this gift is that it can be left un-refrigerated, as an elegant addition to your kitchen, to be carved at will, with the flavour only improving with time.

Serving Suggestion:

- Eat on its own at room temperature, on warm plates to ensure the fat is almost melting & translucent
- Thinly sliced with a crunchy piece of bread & a fine wine
- With fresh figs and/or a good sliced melon
