About Silcocks
Stephen Silcock opened his first shop in Salford, Manchester at the turn of the last century, selling fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. Success and expansion came swiftly and within a few years he had several shops and market stalls to his name. His 10 children, 5 daughters and 5 sons, continued to grow this thriving business which has been handed down from generation to generation.
Today Silcocks Fresh foods are every bit as good, if considerably more exotic, than the produce originally sold by the company's founder. A legacy of which Stephen would no doubt be proud.
